BLUETOOTH PHERIPHERAL DEVICE IN DELL INSPIRON N5010

Hi Tauqir,

I suggest you to reinstall the Bluetooth driver and the application, to check if the appropriate drivers for the other devices are installed. You can download the drivers and the applications from the links given below:

Please let me know about your findings after the installation.

I tried both links but sorry to say still there is a same problem. When I tried to install R226746.exe (Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module) below message is appearing and there are three yellow mark on Bluetooth Peripheral device in Device Manage Window.

Hi Tauqir,

Thank you for your reply. I suggest you to uninstall the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software from Programs and Features. Restart the computer and install the Bluetooth driver from the following link:
http://dell.to/PiDJLS

Please let me know your findings.

Hi Tauqir,

Thank you for your reply. The Bluetooth device is working properly. However, you have to make it discoverable to other devices in order to pair them with the laptop. Please follow the steps provided below to change the Bluetooth settings:

1. Click Start/Windows logo on desktop  to display the start menu.
2. Type ‘Bluetooth’ in the search box.
3. Click on ‘Change Bluetooth Settings’.
4. Check the box “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer”.
5. Click on 'OK'.

Thank you so much this issue has been fixed. But what about yellow mark on Bluetooth Peripheral device, These marks are still showing in device manager window.

Hi Tauqir,

Thank you for your reply and I am glad know that the Bluetooth discovery issue has been resolved. I suggest you to right click on a device and click “Properties”. Click on the “Details” tab and select “Hardware Ids” from the drop down menu below Property and copy the first line listed in the “Value” section.

Please follow the steps for all the devices listed in “Other devices” and reply to this message with Hardware Ids.

Hi Tauqir,

Thank you for your reply. These are Virtual Bluetooth devices.

You have to remove these three services from your bluetooth device. Please follow the steps provided below:

1. Click on the bluetooth icon on the system tray.
2. Click "Show devices".
3. Select a device and click "Properties."
4. Select the "Services" tab.
5. Deselect the three device and click "OK."

Dear Sir, My dell N5010 bluetooth peripheral device driver is not available...I have reintslled the new bluetooth software from the below link.But even after also the Bluetooth peripheral Device is showing yellow in device manager.

Im using genuine Win 7 home premium .

PLEASE HELP ME ///INSTRUCT ME..../// HOW TO ADD THE DRIVER FOR Bluetooth peripheral device
