Bluetooth Travel Mouse and Windows 8
I bought at BT Travel Mouse for use with my Surface Pro. Mouse connected right away and I can use the basic mouse functions.
I bought it to use the two extra buttons. The software that came with the mouse is rejected as not for my system and the download is the same problem. Where is the software that lets me use the buttons? The name Logitech comes up during the software installation (before it was rejected) so I assume this is really a logitech mouse?
I would really like to find the software that makes this mouse fully usable. It like it and it goes well with the Pro. Windows 8 has been out long enough now that I think there should be a solution. It is really not a surface Pro issue I don't think.
thoughts? bob Roos

Hi bob Roos,
Reinstalling the SetPoint application should solve the problem.
If you have purchased the Bluetooth travel mouse along with the system, the SetPoint software is loaded as part of the factory image. Sometimes SetPoint needs to be reinstalled. The SetPoint software ships on a separate CD.
If you are using the SetPoint CD which ships with the Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse, insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The installation should autorun. If not, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the CD-ROM drive and double-click setup.
If you don’t have the cd use the link: http://bit.ly/Y9cBgO
Note: It is a third party website the website could have its own terms and conditions and there could not be any guarantee for the software; however try installing it if necessary.
Click the above link, select download, select the operating system and select the SetPoint from the list and follow the onscreen instructions and download the Setpoint software and check.

Please reply for further help.

THANK YOU very much. That is exactly what I needed. Just to clarify a couple of things. The CD that came with the mouse had files from 2009 and they would not run under Windows 8. There was no help on the Dell Website under the mouse. They just had the same old stuff as the CD. I appreciate your answer and the pairing link (but did not need that). If indicates a higher level of support.

I got an email that asked it I wanted to capture this Q & A and put in a Wiki. I thought that was a good idea, but the "Capture" link gave me a 404. Link= en.community.dell.com/.../capture.aspx

Hi Nikhil,
I use Studio 1558, and can't find a suitable driver for Dell Bluetooth 365, to be used in Windows 8 Pro. Please let me know from where I can get.
