C400 and Netgear MA401 Wireless Card
Have a C400 with W2000 SP2 and a 3COM 3C920 internal ethernet card. Have recently purchased a Netgear MA401 wireless PCMCIA card to use at home with a Netgear DG824M ADSL Modem/Router. Unfortunately, cannot load the drivers for the MA401. Keep getting error code 31 'The INF or the device information or element does not match the specified install class'. Have tried loading the driver from the CD-ROM provided and also the driver from the Netgear web site - always the same error message. Card works fine on another laptop. Any thoughts please. Many thanks
