C610 compatible with 1350 and 1450

I need to buy a mini pci card for a C610.  Can someone tell me if the Truemobile 1350 and 1450 cards will work and if so do I need to search for drivers or can I just let WinXP take care of it?

I have one in my Mother's C640 and had one in my sister's C610, worked fine. I just reloaded my sister's system and am getting this error when installing the card:

Kinda piccing me off. The driver is dated 7-5-2005. Not happy about this at all. I've reseated the card and it is showing up as a network adapter in device manager. I 'm going to look for a previous version of the driver, hopefully Dell isn't screwing C6xx owners with some system check in the new driver...

Just an update:  I downloaded all previous versions through 10/04 and none worked, same error.  Also tried off the Drivers CD from my D600, had an even older version, same thing.  The Resource CD did find my card too.  Swapped the card into my D600 and it worked fine.  I'm hoping it isn't the mobo seeing as I've had it replaced already for the mini-pci slot not working and now I'm OOW.

I have since received the Truemobile 1450.  Installed it, Installed the drivers that Dell sent with it, and was online immediately.  There was no set up required.  Thanks for the input.

I'm thinking the mobo on the C610 I have has a bad minipci slot. Again.

I am using XP.  I don't have access to the disk version right now, I will post it when I get home tommorrow.  I assume it is probably the latest version that Dell has on the support website.  I had to put in a different laptop model in order to get to the 1450 as there system does not show it compatible with the C610.

It doesn't list it with the C610 because it never came with it. Has nothing to do with compatibility. It should work. It works fine in my Mom's C640...
