cable modem hookup Inspiron 9300

Hi.
Can anyone help me on hooking my cable modem to my notebook? I unplug the cable modem from my desktop, but there isn't anywhere on the notebook where I can hook up the cable modem. The only thing I see is the dial up hook up.

Thanks for any help I can get.

Your system has an integrated v.92 56K capable modem, an integrated 10/100 Ethernet adaptor and an ProWireless 2200 (802.11b/g) mini PCI wireless card

The modem uses a standard RJ11 style connector; the Ethernet adpator uses an RJ45 connector.
 
The RJ45 Ethernet port is located on the back of the laptop.  Looking at the laptop with the front faceing away from you, the RJ45 port is on the far left side, (located furthest from the VGA/DVI connectors.)
