can not connect to internet

i have a inspiron 9400 and was able to connected to a wireless internet connection yestderday. today i am trying to connect to a new wirless connection, it will try to connect but for some reason never will and nothing pops up stating why it didnt. The signal is strong and i have done all the trouble shooting on the internet i can handle and nothing has worked does any one have any ideas?
