Cannot browse internet with wireless on Latitute D505

Question

Hello all:   I hope someone out there can help.  One of my users with a Dell Latitude D505 was able to use the built-in wireless to browse the internet a few weeks ago.  After attending a conference, she has been unable to browse the 'net using her wireless connection.   I verified that it can connect to a Access Point.  It gets an IP address from the Access Point.  But it cannot browse the internet.  Any ideas?

Have all possible firewalls been checked to assure that they allow internet access? Steve

Thanks for your response.  I found out that the user profile was the problem.  I was able to use the wireless device using another profile.  I ended up saving this user's files on a flash drive, then delete the user.  The recreated user works great.
