Cannot connect to DI-604
I had a person who I thought was my friend but wasn't set up a dial-up ICS ethernet network for me several months ago.
Everything was going fine until I tried to install SBC DSL software on the host computer last night. It turned out that I did not order the right equipment from SBC and that problem is being resolved.
What I need help with is this:
After my fiasco, the client computers are no longer able to connect to the dial-up connection through the host. I am also unable to access the DI-604 through my browser. I am no longer in contact with the person who set up the original network. The LAN still exists, as I am able to share files between the computers.
Is there a way to repair the dial-up ICS in the interim? SBC customer service informs me that I will need to set up a whole new network for DSL; right now we do not have any internet connection at all on the client computer.
Thank you for your time and patience with an exhausted and exasperated newbie.
