Cannot connect to the internet - wired connection and not a wireless connection
I have just bought a brand new Desktop for my small business and this new pc cannot connect to the internet. I am able to ping a IP address, but cannot ping a www.google.com
i was told by dell to pay $239 for support on a brand new pC!!!!
is there anyone that can help?
i have been able to run another pc on that same jack and all, but this pc, this new one will not connect.

It helps us a lot if you post back with your Dell model number and the OS you are running. Any additional info as to the type of internet connection you have(DSL Cable etc)
and all the network hardware you are employing on your network setup .
