can't access CNN. . .

Question

Hi All,   I was wondering if anyone has enountered this problem: When I try to access CNN (among a few other sites), I am stopped by an error message to the effect that access is forbidden.   I have changed no settings on my Internet Tools options.  Security, Content, Privacy, all set for default.  Under Content Advisor, I can enable access to a specific site with a password, but certainly I shouldn't have to do that to access CNN.   Does anyone think uninstalling and re-installing Explorer might help?     Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks. Matt

Not that i care about CNN, but have you tried adding them to your Trusted Sites?

haha, yes, not a fav site. . .well, i could add the site, but i'm trying to avoid that because I think it involves a password and really, I shouldn't have too, it's just on this one computer that i get this error. . .I can't help but think it's a software issue of some kind

If adding CNN to your trusted sites list involves a password then someone has setup that system to restrict access to CNN. There is no way around that without knowing the password (or trying a dangerous hack).
