Cant connect to the internet
Im trying to install a Motorola SB5100 Surfboard Cable Modem on my Uncles Dell Inspiron 1100. My Uncle said its installed up there but when I open internet Explorer this error message comes up:
The instruction at "0x77f51e3f" referenced memory at "0x32017800". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
The operating system is XP home, can some one help me out?

Friend it seems the modem driver or something else is wrong in your system. Is there any way u can connect to the internet apart from using that modem? Does any application give a memory loading error address? if not, try reinstalling everyting concerning the modem and your internet connection, thus, both hardware and software. Try also to use a different internal modem, but the ultimate will be trying to install windows with every hardware needed in place, afterwards try and install the modem software again and carefully.
Configure your connection woth the 'inetwiz' command.
Hope this solves your problem. Have a good day.
