Can't Connect to wireless network

Hi!
 
I recently formated my Inspiron 6400/1505 and I downloaded and installed all the drivers through my other computer and everything works fine except for the internet. The wireless network is found by the Intel PROset/Wireless tool but when I click connect it takes a while and then it says connection has limited or no connectivity. I have tried reisntalling the drivers and also reconnecting the router and restarting it but still nothing. Before my Windows was Xp Professional and now I installed Windows Xp Media Center Edition.

Sorry about that I totally forgot to mention it. Since I started having doubts about wether or not I installed the drivers in the right order and I might have done something wrong on the side, I reformatted again and installed Media Center Edition, but this time I actually went in order. Now that I did this the internet still doesn't work and as I said I get the above error. Also I just noticed there is an Unknown Device. And yes I have security settings and one of the first things that I did was reset and or disabled it temporarely, yet still nothing. This is really confusing since the internet worked in the Vista RC1 and Windows XP Professional.

So now does the wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager?  Does your ethernet network adapter show up in Device Manager?  Not that it will have any effect on your wireless connection, but did you install the modem drivers?   It would be very helpful if you stated exactly which device drivers you installed in the correct order.

Yes all of which you listed are in the device manager. And I did notice that there was a modem on the list with a yellow mark so I installed the modem driver which I found under networks in the downloads section and it disappeared. But now unlike before there is an Unknown Device. Is there any way to figure out what it might be? 
 
Also here is exactly what I did:
 
Drivers:
 
1. CHIPSET (first the Intel Mobile Chipset then the Ricoh R5C832) 
 
2. VIDEO ADAPTER
 
3. ETHERNET
 
4. WIRELESS CARD
 
5. AUDIO (first installed SigmaTel and then in the device manager updated the PCI Device, and then installed Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD)
 
6. MODEM
 
7. DELL NOTEBOOK SYSTEM SOFTWARE

Thanks Everyone for your help I fixed the problem.
 
For everybody else's refrenece here's exactly what I did:
 
I uninstalled the  Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection from Device Manager and
 
installed Dell _Wireless (US) WLAN Card and also as steve told me to I reset the Network
 
Settings again and everything is working now.
 
 
 
By the way this is for the Inspiron 6400/1505.
