Can't connect wireless laptop to network printer
I recently purchased a new XPS running Vista. I previously had a Dimension desktop which was connected to a router and wirelessly to a remote home laptop. The Dimension was also wired to a printer, which the laptop could access through the network. Everything worked fine, I could share files and the laptop could print on the printer. Both Dimension and laptop were running XP.
With the new XPS hooked up the same way, I can share files but I can't make the laptop connect to the printer. When I go on the XPS and look at the network and try to add a printer to the laptop, I get a message saying 'I don't have sufficient rights to perform this operation.' I have tried to find the printer on the laptop printer wizard (laptop is still running XP), and I can't find it. I have a Vista driver on the XPS and it prints fine; there is a XP printer driver on the laptop.
Any help would be appreciated.
