Can't dialup my ISP; Help please
This is a second appeal (possibly to Dell Support) for help with the dial-up connection to my ISP.
I inherited a Dell Latitude M233ST notebook (with NT4) (Service Tag Z1P41).Iit was working fine until a few weeks ago when I found that I could not connect to my ISP. So far as I can tell, all other application programs still work well.
When I now click on my desktop Konnection icon to dial-up the ISP, I get this error message:
"Cannot load the Remote Access Connection Manager service. Error 711:
ResMan initialization failure."
Can anyone tell me what this means? What "log" is the message referring to? Can anyone suggest steps I can take to fix (or at least isolate) the malfunction?
I have tried to get help using the modem FAQ on this forum but was unsuccessful.

Rod: I just now had the opportunity to try your suggestion. The article tells me to change the mode of the PlugandPlay service to Enabled. But I find the only options on the Dell are Automatic, Manual, and Disabled. My current setting is Automatic. I cannot find an Enabled option. Any suggestions?
