Can't get onto home wireless system

When you installed Vista, did you install the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers and start installing the drivers in order. Everything should start working.

The operating system is there, just that you need to install the desktop/notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first. You can start at this point. They have the drivers for the attached devices on your computer, like the USB Ports, wireless adapter, webcam, etc.

Restoring Your Computer´s Software to the Factory Settings might be easier.

Thanks for the advice and the welcome..although I work with computers all the time, i think quantum mechanics is easier than software!

Do I need to uninstall the vista system again,I just booted from the disk so I guess the order was however it automatically added all the software.

Got the driver working finally-now I can see the home network from the second computer...but I can't connect to it. Get a screen asking for Credentials-username/password/logon domain-what is the logon domain-the name of the secondary or primary computer, the name of the home network etc? Also is the password the 26 key code that the wireless router uses?

You see your home network. You click on it to connect. It will ask you for a password. The password is the password you use to connect to your network.
