can't log into bank account

 I have purchased a new Inspiron 620 ( Oct 2011) .  Here is my problem, I cannot log on to my online bank account  using Google or iGoogle, or Chrome in IE8 or IE9. the log in page asks me to fill in my account  # , then press enter, brings up password page, fill in password , press enter, This would normally open up my bank account register. BUT  in this case I get directed back to the account # log in page and then the password page.......etc in an endless loop. 

I also cannot open up my admin page on a web site I maintain. I can however open up my  business banking account in the above mentioned searce engines. I can open up any and all accounts using Mozzilla but I don't like that engine for several reasons.

 I previously had a self built  pc that was getting outdated and had no problem using any or all engines but that one used Win xp home and IE8.

 Can some one help  ?
