Change a v92 modem to a v90 modem
Hi all.
My Mate has just bought a Dell laptop with a Conexant HDA D110mdc V.92 internal modem.
We are trying to setup an internet connection here in Spain using a digital trac phone.
I can dial up a telephone fine but when we dial up the isp server it begins handshaking and then drops out.
The technician tells me we need a V90 modem and I have also read this on a spanish forum. Is it possible for me to change the modem to a V90 with a firmwarupgrade/downgrade?? Or maybe make it act as a V90 via settings????
Thank you for your time.

AT+MS=V34 disables V.90 and 56KFlex, enables V.34.
