Computer keeps dropping internet connection
Hi, I have 2305 all in one touch screen that I bought last Aug. about two weeks ago it started dropping the internet from my wired connection and the only way to reconnect is to restart the computer. I called Dell and they had me do a full system restore, that did not work. Then they said my registry was needed fixing and wanted me to pay about $400 for registry fix software, no thanks. I did by a registry fix program on line and used it lasted about two days before the same thing started again. It happens mostly when the computer goes into sleep mode and you wake it up, I tried to connect to my wireless router but that didn't work.
Help please.

f4fletch,
Start, control panel, device manager, network, double click on Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, power management.
Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Restart the computer and see if your connection stays steady.

f4fletch,
Did you install/reinstall the operating system recently?
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.
