Conexant D850 56K V.0x DFvc Modem
My hardrive started going out , so I had to buy a new one and get th OS disk from Dell to reinstall system. After doing this my sound card, modem, network conectors worked. I used another computer to get drivers and eventually was able to get back online. My only problem is now my answerinf machine software will not work, it says my modem does not do voice. I have used the modem for 6 years with no problem, could someone please tell me how to get it working again? I have downloaded and installed the driver but it doesn"t help. I would really appreciate some guidance. Thank youi.

Did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Yes, I do think I installed them in the correct order. The modem is the last thing I have left to put in. All my updates have been downloaded and installed. Is there something else I need to do?
