Connecting Powerconnect 6024 & 2848 using SFP
Hi, I'm having problems to connect 2 switches (Powerconnect 6024 & 2848) using SFP, if I connect them using patch cords (3 mts) works perfectly but if I connect them with my new fiber (~~200mts) never get link or connection.
I already requested to the Fiber Provider a doble check to the installation, they reviewed the installation with a OMNISCANNER, having a good connection (less of 1% of lose), my transceivers are SX (both side) and where suggested by the same people of sales.
Someone could know what is happening with my connection, any suggest?

Have you been here yet: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/product_support/product_support_central?c=us&cs=RC956921&l=en&s=biz
There are troubleshooting steps to walk you though isolating the problem. Either use your service code or select by model -> Servers and storage

Seems the transceivers don't work with the current fiber installed, I requested to DELL a different model of transceivers and is on road, once that I test them I will let you know for your information.
Current fiber: 170mts Single mode.
Current transceivers: SFP 1000-SX, LC (only work with multimode).
New requested transceivers: SFP Optical Transceiver, 1000BASE-LX, LC
