Ok, My computer has been getting seriously slow and my FPS game i play my ping went from 172-188 to 358-377 and sticking to it.

 

And that is a heck of alot of lag. So, i talked to some of my friend's and told them the lag i'm getting and i also told them i had some programs on my computer that i couldn't delete for i deleted the folder and .exe's for them.

 

 

So a friend recommended i re-install WindowsXP so that my computer would be completely refreshed.

 

Now i liked the sound of that having a new refreshed computer would be great!

 

i have done it because i found the WindowsXP disk in this box where i keep most important Computer CDs and i had to go to dell.com to download the last remaining drivers that were missing.

Now i have every possible driver needed for my computer although i'm having one issue.

 

 I cannot connect to any servers.

 

Like for example i can't connect to game servers, can't connect to ventrilo (A communication program where you talk to one another with microphones)

 

Anything with a server, i can't connect to it.

If i download the game .exe file from the Direct File Download. it downloads fine if i press on 'PlayLive' it sometimes currupts because it's downloading the game off there servers because if you choose to download the game from the servers it will automaticually install it for you and you go straight into the game.

 

 

Now i found out this issue from this...

 

¬ Can't download the game from there Servers but i can from there main computer.

 

¬ Can't connect to my ventrilo Server

 

¬ When the game is installed, i cannot connect to any of there three game servers.

 

Anyone know what it is?

Now, i've played on this computer before so i know it can work on it, SomeOne help me please.

 

Oh, on the driver list on dell.com support pages i can't seem to download the SATA drive.

 

Is that the issue? :/
