Cox Communications ISP - wireless router

I'm currently using a Compag with a Linksys-g wireless router for my home wireless network.  My ISP is Cox Communications.  Are there any known compatability issues using a Linksys-g router with a Dell Dimension 2400 using the integrated 10/100 ethernet or the Dell gigabit ethernet, and Cox as an ISP?

There have not been any reports on this forum regarding problems between the network solutions shipped within a Dimension 2400 and Linksys Wireless-G routers.

I have Cox as my ISP and use a Linksys wireless-G router to connect 5 Dell computers to the internet (no 2400).  There should be no problems with your system, although using the Gigabit card would be overkill, since neither the router nor Cox will let you connect at anything even approaching gigabit speed.

If you do have connectivity issues, try hard setting the NIC speed to T10, as sometimes the autodetect feature doesn't throttle down to cables T10 speed for reasons unknown.
