Dell 1505 Wireless-N PCIe Card Problems
I have a new Dell Studio 540 equiped with a Dell 1505 Wireless-N PCIe card and I have problems connecting to my wireless router (2wire). I cannot connect to the router when I am more than 15 feet away. I will only get 1 bar in the same room with other laptops (Intel 4965 agn card) and desktops (*** Airlink pci card and Netgear pci card) that will have full signal. Has anyone else experience any problems with the Dell 1505 card? I am thinking about just returning the card or the system since there is no point of having a wireless card that has to be in the same room with the router. Are there any other PCIe cards that I can replace the Dell 1505 with?

Have you made sure the antennae are properly connected to the card? If they are note connected, or only one is, that could easily account for the poor signal strength you are seeing on one computer, but not others.
