Dell D610 + Dell Truemobile wireless + Fedora

Hi,

I've been reading all of the posts on the internet about the Dell Latitudes and connecting them to Fedora via a wireless link.  I have not been able to find anything solid that explains how to do it in a lamen's term (I'm a newbie to Fedora).

Can anyone make any suggestions as to where I should go for such information?

I'm not sure what I should go by (ie:  the chipset), and the drivers that I have for the card only include XP.

I saw Linuxant, but would prefer a more economical way to just connect my Fedora.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

use www.fedoraforum.org, you will get better answers there. I am using my d610 on fedora, but I have a 2200bg intel wireless card, which now has native linux drivers and is supported pretty much out of the box on FC4. If you can try to get an mpci intel card. The dell one can be forced to work as I did it on my old laptop, but you will have to use ndiswrapper. You should be able to find an answer at the fedoraforum site.
