Dell Inspirion 3721 Connectivity issue

Question

I'm still having the same issue.... I run the troubleshooter when I lose connection, and it doesn't actually stay connected to the WiFi unless, when running the troubleshooter, it decides to "reset the wifi adapter"...if it doesn't do this, then I have to wait for the connection to drop again & run the troubleshooter until it does. It's so very frustrating!!!! The drivers have been updated.

Is there any way to either resolve this issue permanently or a way for me to just reset the wifi adapter myself when I first log on so I don't have to wait until the connection drops & run the troubleshooter until it decides to rest the wifi adapter on it's own?!?!?!!?!

This solution was posted by vlad989ix in another thread here http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/p/19499022/20397372.aspx#20397372 that was locked due to age but I don't understand what he was talking about..can someone help me please?? I found a solution to this problem, spent 3 hours in the end, change encryption, WPA 2 AES and was raised WPA 1 TKIP and it worked <---- That's what I don't understand how to do...

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Heather,     From what that post read, try reading...   How to login to your wireless router and use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11.     Rick

I found them but can't find any of the ones listed in the Recommended Wireless Router Settings thread you posted..I guess I'm not computer savvy enough....Lol
