Dell Inspiron B120 Wireless Networking in Windows 2000

I am installing windows 2000 professional on the new B120 notebook. i downloaded all of the drivers from dell including the quickset drivers. when i click on the icon for my wireless card it states that "The Dell Wireless LAN Card is still disabled. Press Fn-F2 to enable it" so i press fn-f2 and the radio picture comes up in the bottom right corner. it does not change any settings on the nic card. what do i need to do to resolve the issue so i can start using my computer wireless.
