Dell Latitude 3450 Laptop- Not connecting to Home wireless net work .
Recently i have been provided with above laptop by my employer. I am facing a unique problem with this laptop. Its connectivity to my home wifi network is very uncertain. Some time It gets connected easily but most of the time the home net work do not appear in net work list while all other neighborhood network are appearing in the network list. At the same time my personal laptop lying downstairs get connected with this network easily. Further the office laptop gets easily connected to my office network. I never felt any problem there. It gets also connected to my home netwrok through LAN cable but not through WIFI.Please help me by providing your valuable guidance/suggestions.

Hi,
If the system is connecting to other networks (your office network) easily all the time, and your home network easily most of the time, it may be an issue with your home router.
Do you know the last time you updated the firmware on your router? Or even rebooted the router?
You don't mention which operating system you're running on that system (or your home laptop) or any details about your home network (router make & model, firmware version, etc), but here is a link to Dell's Networking & Wireless Support Center. You can find quite a bit of information in that article that will walk you through the normal troubleshooting steps to try to resolve this problem.
The next time you're having problems connecting your work laptop to your home network try shutting down the laptop and then pulling the power plug from the router out for about 30 seconds. After that time plug the power back into the router and allow it to FULLY power back up. Once all your LED lights on your router are back and solid then try starting up your laptop and seeing if it will connect at that point.
