Dell Studio Hybrid Wireless Card
I have recently bought my Studio Hybrid, and I love it, the only problem is that I currently have a Linksys b/g router, given the n card that is in my computer is fully compatable, I am not getting decent speed out of it. It is actually going slower than you know what, which really makes being online with it a pain. I have 2 other Dell computers and a HP and none of them have a problem, but they have b/g cards. Does anyone know what I can do for the time being before I buy a n router? Or, if someone could recommend a n router for me that is on the cheaper side but still performs.

I am having the same issue and it also likes to disconnect from the network very frequently. I have a linksys WRT160N router which is N and it has solved nothing, just thought that might help, if anybody has a solution to our problem please help

I actually had to sit on the phone with customer support running through everything with them, including erasing everything on the computer and reinstalling windows fresh, finally they gave in and sent me a replacement wireless card and now it runs completely fine on any network I connect to. I have occasional disconnects, but I think its just because the router I have is so old. But, I would suggest calling customer service and complain and play their games and have them just warrenty the card and send you a new one.

get a Intel PRO Wireless 4965 AGN Mini-PCI-Express 802.11AGN
plugs right in and directly replaces dell wireless card
all issues resolved
usually around $25 on ebay

i just got my studio hybrid a few days ago. i'm having the same slow or no connectivity problems. even when i put the router 5 feet away from the studio hybrid, the signal was only 3 bars and still slow. all the other computers in my house which are much farther away have excellent signal strength. i bought an expensive wireless usb network adapter and that got me a better signal on the hybrid. but why should i have to pay for a new network adapter if i just bought a new computer?
i just called dell tech support and they're sending someone out to replace the card with the same card. lets see if it makes any difference. for some reason i'm not keeping my hopes up.
