Dell wireless 1370 wlan mini pc card disconnected

Trying to set up a wireless network which includes an Inspiron 2200 and I get the following error message.

Network connection listed below are disconnected.  Plug in your network cables or otherwise connect your network hardware.

(wireless network connection Dell Wireless 1370 wlan mini pc card).

Also in the system tray the wireless icon has a red X through it.

It was working in the past.  I can't figure out how to get it reconnected.   Any suggestions??

Thanks

Bob

Have you tried to reconfigure in "my networks?"

Go to your device driver and see if you can update or roll back.

RCFLYERBOB,

Are you sure your wirless network radio is turned on?  The Fn F2 key combination toggles it on and off.

when u toggle the fn key and f2 a little radio tower antenna shows up near the clock. it will look like a rko tower like the way the old fashion king kong movie starts at the very beginning. when u toggle it either there will be a red circle or the tower antenna should look like its broadcasting a signal. hope this terminology helps. lol

Thanks,  but nothing to roll back to and the existing driver is the most current.

I don't get any response when I use the fn f2 keys. Is there a screen that should come up.

Thanks,

Bob
