Dell wireless WLAN 1350 WLAN mini pc card

We have dell inspiron 5160 with this 1350 mini pc card (broadcom corp).  Great performance. recently installed second operating system of XANDROS business edition which works realy well on this machine.  Need a driver for this linux system for this card. No problems connecting to your network by the broadcom NIC under xandros but xandros does not have a driver system for this wireless card.  looking for help/driver to solve this problem.

xandros looks really nice on several of our dell systems (desktop and portables) and interfaces very nicely with windows 2000 and 2003 server based networks.

thanks

I don't believe broadcom makes drivers available to the linux community.

You will need to use the Windows drivers with a wrapper for linux.

Ndiswrapper will do this. You may already have ndiswrapper on your distribution. If not, you can get it here:

yes. I have installed the wireless minipc card using the NDIS wrapper which came with XANDROS distribution. However the wireless port does appear as an option for the default network connection whereas the RJ45 port are available and work well.  I have not been able to clear this problem up but am certainly open to anything anyone can teach me as I am a little new to linux although i like it very much better than window.
