Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility
Upgraded Dell wireless card 1397 with Intel 5100 card in Studio 1737 Laptop. New wireless card functions fine. My issue is with the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility. When trying to run, I receive a message:
THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO WIRELESS ADAPTERS AVAILABLE AND ENABLED. PLEASE ENABLE ANY WIRELESS ADAPTERS BEFORE ACCESSING THIS CONFIGURATION UTILITY.
Any suggestions on a fix.

You cannot use the Dell utility with an Intel card. It will only work with a Dell card. Uninstall it. Either switch to the windows utility or use the Intel one that you are probably using now. You did say the Intel card works fine.

Ok, what if you are using a Dell Wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN Mini-Card and you get the same message: "THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO WIRELESS ADAPTERS AVAILABLE AND ENABLED. PLEASE ENABLE ANY WIRELESS ADAPTERS BEFORE ACCESSING THIS CONFIGURATION UTILITY."?
Dell Studio 1735, Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, installed latest driver/software R206848 for the wireless adapter, adapter works fine otherwise.
