Disconnect idle call

Hello all,

I have a conexant D850 56K V.9x DFVc modem. I would like to enable the "disconnect call if idle" option. Any thoughts.

Thanks!

Go into your Network Connections and right-click the modem icon and go to properties. Since you didn't specify your OS you will need to poke around and find the check box that says "Disconnect a call if idle for more than" and then put in your time. Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for the reply.

I had located this option but it is faded out and not available. Not sure where to go from here. I'm on XP.

Try updating (or re-installing) the drivers. Do a search for the modem, there are a lot of free drivers out there for it.
