drivers for Dell Latitude 600 integrated network card

Hi:

I am trying to download the drivers for a laptop Dell Latitude 600 integrated network card. The problem is that we can't tell what driver it needs, not can we scan the laptop online since the network AND modem drivers were wiped out.

I can't seem to locate the correct driver to get this working,,any suggestions?

Thanks,

Anthony

Anthony,

Check this list. The only one that's for an internal Ethernet controller is the first one - "Broadcom 570x Gigabit Integrated Controller". Unless I'm missing something, that's the one you need.

Hi:

Thanks; I should have qualified that the 600 is running Windows 2000; this donwload did not work, as it appears to be for WP.

Thanks,

Anthony

All the drivers for your D600 can be found by clicking on "Downloads", and specifying your machine's model number/service tag number.

Here's the same page for Win2K. As with XP, there's really only one choice for the integrated Ethernet adapter.

I believe he has a C600 with the combo MiniPCI NIC/Modem card. It is very possible that this combo card has bit the dust, gave up the ghost, went 6 feet under, in other words died. You should run the Dell diagnostic program for your model to check if it is still alive and well.

I tried this.. the broadcom stuff installs fine, but no network adapters are found. (I went up to XP- apparently the integrated ethernet adapter for the d600 isn't natively supported by XP) I'm still trying to figure out how to get a network adapter installed so the broadcom drivers can use it.
