DSL Modem

Old dial up guy just up graded to DSl.Can I just plug the modem in and let it go 7/24 or shut it down when I shut down the computer.

have had dsl for over a year and never shut mine down .....have had to reset a few times but otherwise no problems leaving it on 24/7

well....if u turn off ur pc...i guess theres no reason for having ur DSL on..but y are u gonna turn off ur pc? lol....

It all depends on how you setup the modem.  You can set the modem to stay connected continously or connect everytime you log into your browser with an account authentication application from your laptop.

Turn it off or leave it .. it's your call. It won't hurt if leave it on .... well ... or turn it off either...
