DW1501 wireless n
I purchased a Inspiron 4010 for my daughter.
It has a DW1501 wireless n card
The driver is 5.60.48.18
I have a Linksys 160N wireless router.
Using the wireless, my download speed is .89 mbs on the Inspiron.
Download speeds on anthor PC on the same network is 11.5 mbs
A Dell tech was here yesterday and replaced the wireless card, the hard drive and motherboard, with no change in speed.
I think that there is some conflict with the router.
Anyone have any suggestions?

See if you can connect using an Ethernet cable.
If you can't then it is some sort of firewall / anti-virus issue.

speed is good with an ethernet cable.
it's can't be any antivirus, because we resintalled the OS and I have not installed one yet
I turned off the firewall and there was no chnage in the download speed
I'm still think it is a conflict with the wireless card and the router, just don't know how to resolve it

Right-click on the wireless card in Device Manager and see if there are any settings that can be changed.
