E1505 Has Signal But Keeps Dropping

Computer is brand new, just got it today.  Came with Windows Vista.  It will show the wireless network, but the signal isn't stable.  It will work and then drop completely and disconnect.  I have another Dell laptop that I've hooked up next to it (the one I'm on now).  It has Windows XP and is 6 months old (it's a B130) and it works perfect while the other one has no connection.

Little disappointed since the newer computer is the one giving me troubles and is suppose to be a much higher end computer.

Thanks,

Barb

Get the latest Windows Vista drivers from the Intel web site.  Otherwise, I can't be of much help because I refuse to be a beta tester for Vista.  There is too many bugs and too many incompatible drivers in this first week of release.

The latest drivers are from January.  I've installed them.  Didn't help.  Also did a clean install of Vista, which means I don't have any of Dell's software on my system to interfere.

Still without a wireless connection.  It still finds it, connects to it,  and drops it.
