enable bluetooth detection led on Latitude D610?

On the D800, WinXP, the blue LED is a indicator that Bluetooth/WiFi is on, toggled on/off by Fn/F2.

There is an option in BIOS Setup to change that to Dell QuickSet.

After they Replaced your OS, they should have gone to Product Support (upper left of this page)
and installed (from "Downloads & Drivers, but you should first look at "Reinstall Guide for Win2K
on your unit)FIRST Chipset Drivers and then other Drivers for your setup (Video, Touchpad, Notebook
Software communications etc.) and QuickSet if it is available for Win2k.

There are a lot of Fn (Function) items that do not work without Dell QuickSet and your Blue LED
may be one of them.

Hello all.  I have a Latitude D610 with windows XP professional, SP2, and 1370 WLAN miniPCI internal card.  I can not get the bluetooth icon (by the power button) to turn on. 

I have tried the Fn+F2 keys but it only turns off my WI/FI, I even went into the BIOS options to select the quickset option but that did not help either. I downloaded the Dell 350 bluetooth driver in hopes that it would fix the problem.  Unfortunately when the installation gets to 56% it ask to turn on the bluetooth by pressing FN+F2. When I try nothing happens besides my WI/FI turns off and the installtion never goes any further.

Is there another way to turn on the bluetooth? There isn't anything in the control panel and I don't see any other hotkeys to enable this feature. How do I get the bluetooth feature to work? Please advice.

Bluetooth (TM350) was optional w/ the D610 and did not come with the 1370 WLAN miniPCI internal card.

Look on a thread in this board that I just posted earlier today for phone #'s and details,
but you would need to add the TM350 Module, don't get a 'dongle'.
