Error Box that keeps popping up at start up

I have been getting an error message box that keeps popping up at the time of start up.

The box reads this:

Error: Error in loading DLL

Page:

File:///c:/Program%20files/Dell%20Support%20Center/sscommon/common/Snapins/shell/ss_shell.htm?config=...%255c..%255cgs_agent%225cdsc_config.xml&255cgs_agent%255cdsc_config.xml&global:provider=DellSupportCenterLine:31

Then at the last part of the box it ask if I want to continue with script on this page click yes or no?

I usually click no but I really don't know what the heck it is talking about.

This is all of what the error box saids and I know that it is coming from Dell Support Center because when I go to that site or try the box comes up again and whenever I try to go another site for Dell Support it does the same thing but the line number changes.

How do I stop this box from popping up and being a pest when starting my computer?

The other thing is, can I go back to windows Xp even though I currently have Windows Vista? I have had nothing but problems since I have had Vista and would like to change back to XP if possible.

Thanks

Sign: I really need help, this has gone on too long and I'm tired of dealing with it.

the error is related to the Dell support center software. honestly it is a waste of resouces and most users consider Bloatware and delete it.

You have two options uninstall it or reinstall it. I would go with the former.

you must do a complete clean reinstall with formatting the drive which means you will lose all your programs and data. Install the XP OS and then install your drivers and such. now if your system has no XP drivers you will have to find them yourself. If your system came with Vista installed you will lose all Dell support on the system as you have changed the OS from the shipped version. You should still have hardware support but more and more support is refusing to help until you return your OS to the shipped version.

since we dont know your Dell model we cant provide any further help in seeing if there are XP drivers for your system .
