ExpressCard
Anyone know when this ExpressCard for wireless internet will come out? I keep reading "very soon" or "give it a few more weeks." I've been waiting "a few more weeks" several times over. It's a frustrating wait and I'm sick to death of dial-up!!!
I have a feeling when they do come out there will be such a demand that I won't be able to get one. Nowhere can I find a way to pre-order one. Dell tech support just gives the "one or two more months" line every time.
Sigh.

Dell Tech Support will not be able to give you an accurate estimate of when it will be released. The really higher-ups in sales and marketing are about the only folks who have a good idea of when they want to start selling it. Apparently, they are not talking.

When will ExpressCard Mobile Broadband cards be available from Dell?
We do not anticipate seeing mobile broadband ExpressCards available in market until later in 2006.Dell plans to launch the Dell Wireless 5700 EVDO ExpressCard for use on the Verizon Wireless network around May/June.
Dell plans to launch the Dell Wireless 5510 3G HSDPA ExpressCard for use on the Cingular network in November/December
