File sharing on Wireless Network???

Finally got a wireless network running, and am sharing a cable broadband connection on my laptop.

Both the desktop and laptop are running XP. I have enabled network file sharing on several folders on my desktop, but have not been able to figure the method to access these files on the laptop.

How do you go about bringing up these files? Is there supposed to be some type of icon on the laptops desktop or tray which gives access. Appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

You can access these folder and files via My Network Places....I also think that there is a way to access these through My Computer

When you want to see them readily, like I wanted to do too not long ago, use the Tools menu of My Computer (or even My Network Places) and choose Map Network Drive. From there you can select a virtual drive letter and browse to the folder on the network (Windows Network, Mshome, My Documents and Settings on other computer for example).

That way you'll always see them in My Computer or wherever else drives and folders are seen.
