general wireless question
I just ordered a dell notebook online and am awaiting its arival. It had intelpro wireless installed. I have never used a laptop or anything wireless for that matter. I do have a wireless router that came with my dsl that I use for my desktop. My question is....when I get my laptop will it automatically pick up signal from my router or is there something I am gonna have to do to make it work. I just wasnt sure if I have to have someone from my DSL company come out to set it up for me. If anyone can help I would appreciate it thanks.

ok thanks steve, I will just give verizon a call when I get it, hopefully they can assist me over the phone or if anything come out and set it up for me. I don't have the instructions for the router anymore cuz I got it about a year ago when I first installed my DSL service. I didn't know if it was just as easy as takin it outta the box and gettin right on the net or what.
