GX270 and Netgear FA311 compatibility??

We have installed a second network card in the GX270 - Netgear FA311.

When the card was installed, XP did not detect the new hardware.

When the driver is loaded manually it fails with 'Card not started - code 10'.

Now when the machine is restarted it stalls on startup when loading drivers.

The NIC has to be removed to allow the machine to startup.

Same applies on another GX270 machine and with different cards and different slots.

An Intel Pro 100 NIC was installed with no problems.

The same cards work ok with GX260 running Windows 2000.

Have disabled some devices in the bios, turned off the integrated NIC etc - never given the option in the properties of the Netgear card to force a specific IRQ.

Help!!
