Have a wireless connection but cannot connect to Internet

Hi,
I have a Inspirion B130 laptop and a D-Link WBR-1310 Wireless router. I was able to connect to the internet in the morning last friday and by the afternoon I had no connection.  I now have a connection to our home network, in which I am the only wireless connection between 3 computers, but I cannot connect to the Internet. I did not download any new programs for at least a week. So can someone out there help me?

Thank You in advance for any help with this problem.

try using the system restore option start>allprograms>accessories>system tools>system restore...if that doesnt work try going to the BIOS and see if the radio is turned off or not...and after that go to the start all programs dell card utility and disable an option that will say let this utility take control of my wireless card

first, you would have to make sure that you are connected wirelessly, the wireless icon on the system tray should say that you are connected. check also your ip address. just right click your wireless icon, go to status tab and check for it... it should start with something like 192.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x. if it is valid then try to remove any proxy settings that are set on the internet options of internet explorer under connections tab and lan settings. disable any third party firewall and anti-virus software for the meantime. if that still doesnt work, do a power cycle, meaning power off all devices (modem-router-pc), then after 30 seconds, turn on the modem first, make sure the lights are not anymore blinking before turning on the router (router lights should also be stable )and lastly your pc.
