HELP!! about COM PORT!
can someone tell me what to do?...we just bought a new Dell demension 2400 and I just install a program (i guess)......the program was "ELO TOUCH"...and it ask to put what COM PORT...i'm going to put it in....and i choose COM PORT 3.......and I didn't know that my modem's COM PORT was in number 3..........and now my modem doesn't work.........
what do I do and HOW can i take this "ELO TOUCH" out of my computer...i tried it but it is inside of my CONTROL PANEL!!...can you take out things from the CONTROL PANEL??!....i really need help...........please someone REply ASAP

If possible the best thing to do is contact the technical support for the program you installed and ask them how to completely remove the program. If this is not an option, check under Add/Remove Programs in the Device Manager and see if the program can be removed there. If you can remove the program, next try using the System Restore utility to restore the system to a restore point before the software was added.
