Help with Dell Wireless 2350 Broadband Router.

I purchased this router a few days ago, and when I tried to set it up. It comes back with an error. It can't find my internet connection after I connect everything to the router following the on screen instructions. When it gets to the Finalize section of the install, it says configuration error. Any thoughts?

The software that comes with the TM2300 is buggy.  I still don't understand why Dell has not fixed this after all these years.  In any event, you don't need the software to setup the router.  Use the Web Based Configuration Utility as detailed in the User Guide that came with the router.

I've read the manual, and I haven't found anything about any web based utility. Anything you can tell me? Thank you.

You only need to access the router configuration from the comptuer that connects by a wired connection.  You should have to do nothing on the wireless connection.  It should work with the default settings unless you configured the security features on the router.  It is not advisable to set any security features on the router until you have assured that the wireless connection works.  Once that is done, then only change the security features on the router one at a time and configure the wireless network adapter to conform to each setting.

Just right-click on the wireless network connection and select "View Available Wireless Networks", find your wireless network and click "connect". You will be warned that you are connection to a non-secure network, but ignore that for a moment and tell it to connect anyway.

Thank you for your help. I had to download drivers for the wireless card. Got it working though.
