Help with internal wireless card

Hello all, I just bought a Inspiron B130 with an internal wireless card in January. It was working fine until a couple of weeks ago, even picking up signals from pretty far.  Recently, it does not even pick up a strong signal when I am in the room with the router. I downloaded Spybot and cleaned up my computer, and I've scanned the computer with my virus protection, but with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

THanks!

Try reinstalling the drivers. That worked for me.

Sure, but that system comes with 3 choces of wireless solutions:

1) 802.11a/b/g Intel Pro Wireless 2915 RoHS Compliant (Page)
2) 802.11b/g Dell Wireless 1370 RoHS Compliant (Blondie)
3) Dual-Band 802.11a/b/g Dell Wireless 1470 RoHS Compliant (Aerosmith)

Do you know which one you have? You can look in device manager and it should tell you, or on your original invoice. You can look on the support site with your service tag as well.

Right click on My computer, Select "Properties". Click on the HArdware Tab then click the device manager button. A list will populate Click the Plus sign next to Network Adapters. It should tell you there. (If you call technical support they will walk you through it. :) )

The Service Tag (bar code with about 7 letters and numbers) will help because that enables a lookup at
support.dell.com
