Inspirom 5100 Broadcom Network card

I recently installed a Belkin docking station. Now I can only connect to the internet by the Belkin. I need my card to use on a security program but I can not get the card to work. No Ping. No connection. But the PC says the card is working properly. I uploaded new drivers but no help. Can someone help?
