Inspiron E1505 core Duo printer problem
I just purchase this Inspiron e1505, wireless laptop. My problems is that I do not know how to setup
my laptop to somehow print to my printer. I am able to connect to the internet with my laptop and no able to print. Is there a procedure or steps that i need to do to get my laptop to read to my printer to print? Please some body help me. I know that I should also be able to share or retreive my document. So I think that I am not doing that step that is needed to connect to my printer.
Thanks,
Dak

If the printer does not appear in the Printers and Faxes folder on the other computers within about 15 minutes, open the printers and faxes folder on those computers and choose to Add a printer. Tell it that is a networked printer, then browse for the printer and it will install the proper drivers. It should now be avialable for printing across the network.

XP SP1 (Service Pack 1), XP SP2 (Service Pack 2). These are different versions of Windows XP. The service packs have updated windows over the last several years. Service Pack 2 made changes to the Windows firewall.

I suggest you post in the Software - Windows XP forum.
