Inspiron n4010 wireless stopped working
my n4010 only connects to internet via Ethernet cable. It used to find my wireless WIFI network but no longer "sees" any wireless network. Troubleshooting finds no issues, the network adapter says it is functioning correctly and the radio switch is in the on position. Maddening...help!

There is no physical wifi/Bluetooth switch on this system. You can turn the wireless and Bluetooth cards on or off using the F2 key. Below is information on resolving the connection issues.

Thanks for responding Jesse. Yes the f2 key is the way to turn it on and it is on. This in not a matter of not detecting my home wireless network....it will not "see" ANY wireless network no matter where I take the laptop. I've been trying to troubleshoot this problem for more than a month now and have tried virtually every solution I could find. This particular laptop also never will do updates automatically as it is set to do, I always have to click the search online for updates to get any updates on it. It is one of 5 dell laptops that I own and I am VERY frustrated by this.
