Install Dell Bluetooth 355 Card in XPS 1710
I posted this in the "XPS Portable Upgrade Hardware" forum, but got no reply. Does anyone in the Networking/Internet Wireless" forum know how to correctly install this card?
"I installed a Dell Bluetooth 355 card into my XPS 1710, and the card and the Windows drivers work perfectly with my Microsoft 8000 Bluetooth Mouse. My problem came in physically installing the card into the small compartment it sits in. The card plugs into the cable at one end, and though I bent a pin doing it (don't ask), I was able to straighten it and complete the installation. But where do I fit the OTHER side of the card? Does it just dangle in there, or do I force the cable back against itself to get the other end of the card to "snap in" somewhere? At the other end of the compartment from the cable is a plastic "hook", and there's also a hole in the card at that end, too - are either the hook or the hole meant to hold the card securely so it doesn't move while the laptop is being moved?"
